Nicholas - Paris Shopping

This is the flagship store of this chain of wine boutiques, and as such, its vintages are likely to be more esoteric and rare than what you'd find in any of the other 400-or-so members of its chain. Scattered over three floors of a large space near La Madeleine are fairly priced bottles of mainstream wines such as Alsatian Gewürztraminers and Collioures from Languedoc-Roussillon. Nicholas also stocks some exceptionally rare vintages, such as a Romanée-Conti from Burgundy, whose 1961 vintage sells for around 7,900€ ($10,270) per bottle. Open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 8:30pm, Saturday 9:30am to 8pm.
