Marché aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves - Paris Shopping

This weekend event sprawls along two streets and is the best flea market in Paris -- dealers swear by it. There's little in terms of formal antiques and furniture. It's better for old linens, used Hermès scarves, toys, ephemera, costume jewelry, perfume bottles, and bad art. Asking prices tend to be high, as dealers prefer to sell to nontourists. On Sunday, there's a food market one street over. Open Saturday to Monday 6:30am to 4:30pm.
