Comédie-Française - Paris Nightlife

hose with even a modest understanding of French can delight in a sparkling production of Molière at this national theater, established to keep the classics alive and promote important contemporary authors. Nowhere else will you see the works of Molière and Racine so beautifully staged. The box office is open daily from 11am to 6pm, but the hall is dark from mid-July to early September. In 1993 a Left Bank annex was launched, the Comédie Française-Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier, 21 rue du Vieux-Colombier, 4e (tel. 01-44-39-87-00). Though its repertoire varies, it's known for presenting serious French dramas. Discounts are available if you reserve in advance.
