Benjamin Franklin: An American in Paris - Paris Events

Paris' Musée Carnavalet explores the life of Benjamin Franklin over the period of time he spent in the French capital (1776-1785).
The exhibition, which brings together some 340 paintings, sculptures and documents, concentrates on the American's political and scientific influences on the city, and seeks to define the process by which he came to stand as a symbol of republican values and defender of human rights.

Please visit the Musée Carnavalet website for further details.
