Art Paris, held at the Grand Palais, has injected new life into the French art market. Established names as well as new talent from Europe and beyond offer paintings, sculptures, photographs and videos.
The fair was founded in 1999, its aim being to offer art lovers and professionals a "rebellious but constructive" selection of contemporary art. Quality not quantity is the key - via the relatively small size of the display, the organisers aim to create an atmosphere of conviviality.
